How WoW Forever Wiki uses essential storage, regional privacy controls, analytics and advertising technologies.
This independent fan site keeps data collection limited. The information below explains what is stored in your browser, how regional privacy rules are applied, and when analytics or advertising providers may receive data.
Cookie settings
Choose whether to allow Google Analytics and Plausible. Their default settings vary by region. Adsterra advertising loads independently; rejecting analytics does not disable ads.

Essential storage
We store your analytics choice in a first-party cookie to remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics. This preference expires after 180 days. It does not control advertising.
Regional analytics controls
Our hosting provider derives a country code from the incoming request; the site language is not used to determine location. Google Analytics and Plausible wait for explicit acceptance in the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Brazil, and when the country is unknown. In the United States they may load unless rejected or Global Privacy Control is enabled. In other regions they may load unless rejected. These regional controls apply to analytics only, not Adsterra advertising.
Analytics
When analytics is allowed, we use Google Analytics 4 and Plausible to understand visits, page usage and site performance. Google may receive page URLs, browser and device details, approximate IP-derived location, and identifiers stored by its technology. Plausible receives page URLs and request metadata through analytics.wowforeversite.wiki for aggregate reporting; its tracker does not use cookies. Neither analytics tag is intentionally loaded on this privacy page.
Advertising
Adsterra scripts are enabled on public pages other than privacy pages, independently of the analytics choice, country code and Global Privacy Control signal. Slots load when their screen-size and viewport conditions are met; delivery may still be affected by browser blocking or ad availability. Adsterra and its partners may use cookies, pixels, device identifiers, IP-derived location and similar technologies to deliver, measure, protect and personalize ads. This site currently provides no advertising consent control.
Your analytics choice
Cookie settings in the footer controls Google Analytics and Plausible only; rejecting analytics does not disable advertising. If analytics has already loaded, rejecting it saves the preference and reloads the page to stop active analytics tags. Browser privacy tools may separately restrict third-party requests.
Data we do not request
This site does not ask visitors to create an account, submit payment details or provide sensitive personal information. Links to third-party sites are governed by those sites’ own policies.
