WoW Forever Zones: New Regions in Original Azeroth
Explore WoW Forever's confirmed regions: Zephras Isle, Riverglades, Mount Hyjal, and Shen'dralas, with known level ranges and beta status.
World of Warcraft: Forever expands original Azeroth with new and reimagined regions instead of leaving the old continents behind. Blizzard's What's Next panel specifically names Zephras Isle, Riverglades, Mount Hyjal, and Shen'dralas as major launch-area stories or regions.
The official messaging is slightly inconsistent in how it counts "new zones," so this guide uses regions and areas unless Blizzard gives a stricter in-game zone classification.
Confirmed regions and what we know

Zephras Isle
Zephras Isle is the most clearly defined early-game area. Blizzard says it is an elemental skybound starting experience from levels 1 through 12, with architecture inspired by Skywall and a Classic Warcraft visual foundation.

Riverglades
Riverglades is a large questing frontier built around rivers, grasslands, trade routes, struggling communities, and old grudges. Blizzard says the region contains more than 150 new quests and covers much of the mid-30s to mid-40s experience.
That makes Riverglades one of the strongest future sources of quest, NPC, route, and leveling searches. See the dedicated Riverglades guide.
Mount Hyjal
Forever's Mount Hyjal story explores the aftermath of Archimonde's defeat and includes Darkwhisper Gorge. Blizzard also links Hyjal to the future Hyjal Summit 20-player raid.
The panel recap does not yet provide a full outdoor level range, quest map, flight-path list, or reputation structure. We will wait for beta or further official information before publishing those details as final.
Shen'dralas
Blizzard describes Shen'dralas as a long-hidden mystery in the space between Mulgore and Desolace, tied to the Shen'dralar, Eldre'Thalas, Dire Maul, and nearby centaur tribes.
Because the public materials do not yet define its exact in-game zone boundaries or leveling range, Shen'dralas remains an overview topic rather than a detailed route guide.
More than 1,000 new quests
Blizzard says Forever adds more than a thousand new quests throughout the level 1–60 journey. Those quests are not limited to the four named regions above; the stated goal is to fill in unfinished corners and long-discussed spaces across the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.
That is why this hub will eventually connect to quest pages, NPC pages, travel routes, dungeon entrances, resource maps, and rare locations rather than acting as a static list.
What beta needs to verify
For each region we will check:
- exact map boundaries and level ranges;
- quest hubs and chain order;
- flight paths and travel connections;
- important NPCs and vendors;
- rares, resources, and profession gathering;
- dungeon and raid entrances;
- whether subzones deserve their own URLs.
Pre-release note: named regions and the Riverglades/Zephras level information above come from Blizzard. Detailed maps, routes, and NPC coordinates will wait for verified game data.
