WoW Forever Guides: Start Here Before Beta
Start with the most useful WoW Forever guides on beta access, release timing, editions, Classic differences, Legacy, classes, zones, and more.
World of Warcraft: Forever is still pre-release, so the best guide right now is the one that separates what Blizzard has confirmed from what still needs beta verification. This hub collects the pages that already answer real player questions without inventing talent values, quest coordinates, boss lists, or best-in-slot gear that do not yet have reliable in-game data.
Start with these guides
- WoW Forever Beta — dates, access, what is confirmed, and what we will verify when testing begins.
- WoW Forever Release Date — global launch timing, subscription access, and the launch-week invite window.
- Editions & Pricing — what Forever itself includes, what the Skyborne packs add, and which editions include beta access.
- WoW Forever vs Classic — why Blizzard says Forever is not a season or a new version of Classic, and what makes it a separate permanent experience.
- Legacy System — what Blizzard has actually confirmed about the alt- and leveling-focused progression system.

If you are more interested in what you will actually play, use the dedicated hubs instead of broad overview articles:
- Classes & Class Changes for Blizzard-confirmed class design goals and beta verification status.
- Talents for talent-tree changes and the future calculator plan.
- Skyborne for the new playable race, faction choice, class access, and Zephras Isle start.
- Race/Class Combinations for the confirmed Skyborne matrix and the wider combination changes still awaiting beta.
- Zones for Zephras Isle, Riverglades, Mount Hyjal, and Shen'dralas.
- Dungeons and Raids for the confirmed group-content roster.
- Roadmap for beta, launch, raid unlocks, Hardcore, and later evergreen updates.
What we are not publishing yet
We are deliberately holding back pages that depend on real game data. That includes exact leveling routes, complete quest walkthroughs, dungeon maps, boss loot tables, individual class builds, profession leveling paths, and item databases.
Those topics become valuable only when they are accurate. Beta begins on September 17, 2026, and that is when these guides will start replacing preview information with verified routes, maps, spell data, and quest details.
Pre-release policy: if a detail is not in an official Blizzard source or clearly marked as community-observed preview information, we do not present it as final.
