WoW Forever Invite-A-Friend: Codes & Launch Access

Find when WoW Forever friend codes arrive, which packs include them, how to redeem through Battle.net, and what to check if the email or access is missing.

Invite-A-Friend Launch Codes are for launch week, not beta. Blizzard says email delivery starts October 20, 2026, with eligible friends receiving Forever access November 4–11 without subscription or game time during that promotional window.

Which purchases include codes?

Digital upgradeTotal launch codes
Skyborne Heroic Pack1
Skyborne Epic Pack3
Warcraft Forever Collection3

The Epic total includes the Heroic benefit; it is not four codes. Blizzard's offer excludes gift purchases, and other restrictions apply. For physical or regional retail editions, read the specific product's offer rather than assuming the digital-pack table applies. See Editions & Pricing for the broader comparison.

How does a friend redeem a code?

The announced flow is: the qualifying purchaser receives an email, privately sends a code to a friend, and the eligible friend redeems it through Battle.net. Use the redemption instructions in the official message and confirm the destination account before submitting.

Start from the official app or account website yourself instead of a link sent by a stranger. Keep the code private; never post it with an account screenshot. This is not a public key generator, an affiliate referral link or the separate Recruit A Friend rewards program.

Can anyone use it? Does it include beta?

It does not include beta access. Blizzard describes recipients as eligible invitees and links to its offer-specific support article. That article required sign-in during our review, so we have not independently verified every recipient-account restriction. Read it with the intended account before relying on the offer; do not assume it works for every account, region or existing subscription status.

The code is not permanent subscription time, and it does not promise every paid upgrade benefit. For testing before launch, use normal beta access or the separately announced Server Slam.

What if the email has not arrived?

On this page's October 15 review date, delivery has not started yet. Beginning October 20 does not promise that all messages arrive at the same minute.

After delivery begins, check the email attached to the purchasing Battle.net account, spam folders, purchase confirmation and whether the transaction was a qualifying non-gift purchase. Keep your receipt, but do not publish order details. If the expected benefit remains missing, use Blizzard Support; we cannot issue, replace or validate codes.

If redemption reports an error, save the exact message and check the account, eligibility and promotional window before repeatedly trying. Do not pay a third party to “activate” a code or share account credentials for help.

Does it also reserve my friend's name?

Do not treat launch-week access as an Early Name Reservation entitlement. That is a separate upgrade benefit, covered in Name Reservation. For the worldwide opening moment, use the release-date guide.
