World of Warcraft: Forever itself is included with an active World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time. The optional purchases are upgrade packages that add Skyborne access, cosmetics, beta access, game time, launch codes, and other bonuses.
Blizzard currently lists three digital upgrade options: Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, and the limited-time Warcraft Forever Collection.

Skyborne Heroic Pack
The Heroic Pack is the entry point for players who want the Skyborne race and its Zephras Isle level 1–12 starting experience. Blizzard also lists Early Name Reservation, the Cerulean Prideclaw ground mount, cosmetics, housing decor for modern WoW, and one Invite-A-Friend Launch Code.
This pack does not list beta access in Blizzard's official benefit list.
Skyborne Epic Pack
The Epic Pack includes everything in the Heroic Pack and adds the pre-launch items most likely to matter to active players:
- WoW Forever beta access beginning September 17;
- 30 days of World of Warcraft Game Time added on November 4;
- additional cosmetics, pets, and tabards;
- two additional Invite-A-Friend codes, bringing the total to three.
If beta access is your main reason for upgrading, this is the first package Blizzard explicitly identifies as including it.
Warcraft Forever Collection
The limited-time Collection includes everything in the Epic Pack and adds Warcraft III material:
- Warcraft III: Reforged;
- the Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom campaign;
- Forsaken and Human figurine decor for Housing in modern WoW.
Blizzard says the Collection will be available through January 11, 2027.
What is included without an upgrade?
Forever access itself is included with the normal World of Warcraft subscription or game time at launch. The optional packages are not the same thing as purchasing the base Forever experience.
The key distinction is:
- Subscription / Game Time → access to WoW Forever;
- Heroic / Epic / Collection upgrade → optional Skyborne and bonus content;
- Epic / Collection → beta access;
- Collection → additional Warcraft III content.
Early Name Reservation
Any Forever upgrade purchase includes Early Name Reservation from October 27 through November 3, 2026, PST. Blizzard says players can create and customize up to three characters, with names assigned first-come, first-served.

Storefront pricing can vary by region, tax treatment, currency, and upgrade path. The research behind this page found strong discussion around U.S. Skyborne pricing, but a permanent guide should not turn one regional storefront value into a universal price.
