When Does WoW Forever Beta End?
WoW Forever beta's last full testing day is October 21, 2026. See a live countdown to that day, what is known about the closing time, character progress, and launch.
Syncing the countdown with your device clock…
October 21, 2026 is the last full day of the World of Warcraft: Forever beta. Blizzard has confirmed the date, but has not announced an exact server shutdown time. The live timer above counts to the start of that final day in Pacific time—not to the moment beta access closes.
What time does the WoW Forever beta end?
Blizzard says the beta is available through October 21, calling it the last full day of testing. Its announcement does not specify an hour when the servers will shut down. Do not treat midnight, the launch time, or this page's countdown as a confirmed closing time. Check Blizzard's beta announcement for any change.
Will beta characters and progress carry over?
Plan to start a new character at level 1 for launch. In a developer interview reported by Wowhead, the team said everyone will start at level 1 when Forever launches. That statement concerns character progression; it does not, by itself, settle every possible beta participation reward or account entitlement.
What happens between beta and launch?
| Milestone | Published schedule |
|---|---|
| Last full beta day | October 21, 2026 |
| Early Name Reservation | October 27–November 3, 2026, for eligible upgrade purchasers |
| Global launch | November 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PST |
The name-reservation window is not a continuation of the beta. See our release-date guide for launch timing and access, or the main beta guide for installation, access, and current test content.
Can I still log in after October 21?
The published testing window ends with October 21. Blizzard has not published an exact shutdown hour or promised continued beta access after that date. If the client or servers behave differently, rely on current official notices rather than assuming the schedule has silently changed.
