WoW Forever Boats & Travel: Routes and Trip Planning

Forever's announced boat connections include Stormwind Harbor–Auberdine, a Menethil/Southshore/Auberdine route, and Tanaris–Riverglades. Use them to plan where to go, not as a live timetable. We have not independently timed departures or tested every direction in the current client.

These connections come from Blizzard's Found Photos panel recap. Do not turn its list into a guaranteed fastest route or assume the next ship travels directly to the port you want. Access to a boat also does not guarantee safe access to a faction's city.

Check the whole trip, not just the crossing

• Destination first: identify the zone and quest stage. A port, a city and a dungeon entrance are different destinations.
• Faction and level: choose roads your character can reasonably survive. A low-level quest can send you through much higher-level areas.
• Return plan: note your hearthstone bind and any flight paths already unlocked. Do not assume a flight route is available because you visited a dock.
• Bag space and supplies: leave room for quest objects or books and carry appropriate food. For a pet trip, check your pet's diet and available slot first.
• Map names: compare landmarks as well as coordinates; an interior cave pin is not a world-zone pin.

This page is not a complete replacement for Classic zeppelin or flight-path references. We have not validated every older route in Forever, so no unsupported full transport map or minute-by-minute schedule is presented.

Choose one main objective per journey and add nearby errands only if they do not break the quest sequence. The leveling route is a beta-leveling reference, not a launch-tested route to level 60.

At the dock, but not getting where you expected?

Check the ship's destination in the current client before boarding. If the port is part of a multi-stop route, do not assume that every destination is the next stop. Compare the dock and zone with the official connection rather than waiting at any nearby pier.

If a ship is absent, this guide cannot distinguish an ordinary wait from a changed route, service issue or client problem. There is no verified departure countdown here. Consult current official notices for service problems; do not infer a server outage from a quiet dock alone.

If the boat arrives but a quest does not advance, check its required object, NPC and previous step in the relevant guide. Transport gets you to a region; it does not bypass faction restrictions or quest prerequisites.
