Hunter pets in WoW Forever still use the Classic-style training-point system, but Forever changes multiple families and adds a new Fox family. The database below covers all 18 currently listed tameable families and highlights families with Forever-specific changes.

Biggest pet-family changes
The most important changes in the source-reviewed 69977 snapshot include (newer build 70009 has not been independently checked for this table):
- Fox is a new family with Trickster's Dance.
- Bird of Prey replaces the Owl family name and gains Mine!, a disarm.
- Raptor gains Savage Rend, a bleed.
- Spider gains Web.
- Crocolisk gains Dismember, which reduces healing received.
- Crab gains Pinch, a damaging slow.
- Several families gain Dash, while Carrion Birds lose the old generic Screech in favor of Demoralizing Screech.

Beta tame sightings worth tracking
These are community beta observations, not a complete spawn database:

Do not treat community-estimated rare spawn timers as final. Layering and beta tuning can change how a rare appears.
What the database does not claim
This page is a family and currently reported tame reference, not a promise that every individual beast in Azeroth has been found. New tame appearances are still being discovered during beta.
