Riverglades is a major World of Warcraft: Forever questing frontier with more than 150 new quests across much of the mid-30s to mid-40s experience. Blizzard describes it as a rugged region of rivers, grasslands, trade routes, struggling communities, and old grudges.
That makes Riverglades one of the most important confirmed leveling areas in Forever before the beta has even begun.

Where is Riverglades?
Blizzard has identified Riverglades as part of the new and reimagined content being added across original Azeroth, but the public recap does not provide a complete player-ready map with exact borders, entrances, flight paths, or travel time from existing capital cities.
That is why this page does not invent coordinates from speculative maps. Once beta access reaches the relevant level range, we will add a verified map and travel section here.
Why the 150+ quest count matters
A zone with more than 150 new quests is not a small side story. It is large enough to generate its own network of future search needs:
- quest chains and prerequisites;
- quest-giver locations;
- travel and flight paths;
- named NPCs and vendors;
- profession resources;
- dungeon links;
- efficient leveling routes;
- bugged or confusing objectives.
Those individual quest walkthroughs will live under /quests/ once beta gives us reliable names and steps. Riverglades itself remains the canonical page for the region.
Will Riverglades be part of the fastest leveling route?
It is too early to answer that responsibly. Blizzard has confirmed the level band and quest volume, but not final XP values, travel time, quest density, or beta tuning.
A useful leveling guide requires timed routes, not assumptions based on the size of a quest list. Until beta testing reaches Riverglades, this page will focus on the zone rather than claim it is automatically the fastest option.
What we expect to verify in beta
The Riverglades update pass will focus on:
- exact map boundaries;
- first breadcrumb quests into the region;
- quest hubs and chain order;
- level requirements;
- flight paths and travel routes;
- major NPCs and vendors;
- profession gathering nodes;
- rares, secrets, and dungeon connections;
- whether the 150+ quests are split by faction or shared.
How Riverglades fits the Forever philosophy
Riverglades is a strong example of Blizzard's stated "journey before the destination" approach. Instead of treating level 30–45 as old content to rush through, Forever is adding a large amount of new story and world-building directly into that part of the leveling journey.
That matters because Forever also has no level scaling, so where a zone fits in the leveling curve is part of its identity rather than an interchangeable background.
