Zephras Isle Guide: Skyborne Starting Zone 1–12

Zephras Isle is the World of Warcraft: Forever starting experience for Skyborne characters from levels 1 through 12. Blizzard describes it as an elemental, skybound area that blends Classic Warcraft aesthetics with architecture inspired by Skywall.

The exact map, quest order, NPC coordinates, and route off the island are not yet published in enough detail to present as final.

Why Zephras Isle matters

Zephras is not just scenery attached to a new race. It is a full starting experience that teaches players who the Skyborne are before sending them into the wider 1–60 world.

That makes the island likely to generate several practical questions once beta opens: where each quest starts, how long the sequence takes, which NPC moves the story forward, where profession trainers appear, and how the transition into the main continents works.

Those subtopics will remain sections on this page until the data becomes large enough to justify separate URLs.

Skyborne connection

Skyborne choose Horde or Alliance at character creation. Blizzard has confirmed a faction-specific class split: Horde-aligned Skyborne can be Shamans, Alliance-aligned Skyborne can be Mages, and both factions can be Warriors, Hunters, Rogues, and Druids.

For racials, faction choice, unlocks, and customization, use Skyborne. This page stays focused on the place and the 1–12 route.

How do you get access to Zephras Isle?

Blizzard includes the Skyborne race and Zephras Isle starting experience in the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, and Warcraft Forever Collection.

Forever itself is included with a WoW Subscription or Game Time, but the optional Skyborne upgrade is the currently advertised route to creating the new race and playing its dedicated start.

What is still unknown before beta?

The public reveal does not yet give a complete answer to:

• the full quest list and sequence;
• named quest hubs;
• exact NPC coordinates;
• trainers, vendors, and profession access;
• rare mobs or resources;
• the island's complete map;
• the exact exit or faction handoff after level 12;
• whether non-Skyborne characters can freely visit the island.

Those are precisely the details that will make this page useful after September 17.

Beta update plan

Our first pass through Zephras Isle will record the full 1–12 flow rather than publish disconnected quest snippets. The priority is:

1. map and major landmarks;
2. quest order and prerequisites;
3. NPC names and coordinates;
4. rewards and key unlocks;
5. trainers, vendors, and travel;
6. the route off the island.

Pre-release note: level range, visual theme, Skyborne association, and upgrade access are official. Route details remain intentionally blank until verified in-game.
