WoW Forever Legacy Planner: 16-Point Budget per Alt
Plan WoW Forever Legacy points online for free. Compare two alt budgets across three trees, with a 16-point character cap and up to 65 account points.
Enter the Legacy Points you have actually earned, then reserve a budget for each of the three trees. Blizzard's announced launch limits are 65 account points and 16 spendable points per character. This is a budget planner, not a complete Legacy talent calculator.
Plan two independent characters
Normal, non-Hardcore characters only. Both plans use the same account pool independently. Budgets are not node builds and are not saved after reload.
Character budget: 0 · Planned points: 0 · Unassigned: 0
Budget is within the point limit; node rules are not checked.
The account pool is not split between your alts: earning 16 points allows each eligible character to plan up to 16, not eight each. If you have earned fewer than 16, each plan is limited to that lower total. Changing the account input keeps your allocations visible and flags any overspending. Reset clears only the selected character.
What this planner checks
It accepts whole numbers only and checks that Adventure, Professions and Resourcefulness add up to no more than the smaller of your earned points and 16. It does not check individual perk costs, ranks, connecting nodes, prerequisites or character eligibility. A budget within the limit is not proof of a valid in-game build.
The two plans are temporary labels, not connected characters. Nothing is saved to an account, URL or device storage; reloading resets them. Tree labels in translated pages are descriptive aids, not a verified extraction from localized game clients.
Earning points and Hardcore
Blizzard lists 65 initial challenges: 27 class, 18 tradeskill, 12 PvP, two Adventure, three dungeon and three raid challenges. Unlocking the interface begins with the first point; reaching level 25 is a common first route, not the only route. The account can earn more than 16, but that does not increase the launch spending cap for an individual character.
This planner covers normal, non-Hardcore characters only. Blizzard says Legacy is not available in Hardcore at launch and describes a separate future challenge setup. Do not use this normal-account budget to claim Hardcore eligibility. The October 8 beta testing grant and reduced reset costs were test conditions, not permanent launch entitlements.
Rules and source
Read the Legacy system guide (opens in a new tab) for unlocks, rewards and account rules. Ordinary class talents use the separate Talent Calculator (opens in a new tab), not this budget.
