How to start Fishing
- Learn Fishing from a profession trainer.
- Buy or equip a fishing pole.

Current Forever NPC data includes familiar trainers such as Lumak in Orgrimmar, Astaia in Darnassus, and Kah Mistrunner in Thunder Bluff. These examples are useful starting points, not a claim that the list is complete for every faction and region.
Trainer and vendor questions

If your search is for a pole vendor rather than a trainer, first check profession or trade-supply NPCs near the trainer. Vendor stock can be easier to verify in the live client than from older Classic guides.
What is different in Forever?
Fishing sits inside the wider profession redesign. Blizzard says Forever adds more than 600 new recipes across professions, while the Camping system gives professions additional utility. Not every Fishing detail is finalized during beta, so old Classic skill routes should not be presented as automatically optimal.
