Among the Faithful WoW Forever: Bug & Workarounds

Among the Faithful is a Skyborne quest in Falaath Village where you must learn the cultists' plans by hiding behind a wardrobe upstairs in the inn. A major beta issue has been the wardrobe failing to appear even though sparkles are visible. Some players reported the quest working again after the September 22 reset, but the sources reviewed do not include a clear Blizzard fix confirmation.

How to complete Among the Faithful

1. Go to the inn on the north side of Falaath Village.
2. Go upstairs to the room with Skypriest Aanders and High Priestess Lorthuna.
3. Interact with the wardrobe/dresser and choose the hide interaction.
4. Let the cultists' conversation finish so the objective completes.
5. Return toward Shen'dar Village and continue the chain.

Wowhead lists the chain as Infiltrating the Cult → Falaath Village → Among the Faithful → Havoc in the Highlands → To Valanaar.

Wardrobe missing or nothing happens

This is a real beta issue reported by multiple players. The symptom is usually an empty space or sparkles where the wardrobe should be.

Player-reported workarounds include fully exiting and relaunching the client, changing layer by grouping with another player, or returning after a reset or later session. These are workarounds, not guaranteed fixes. A September 22 forum report says the quest began working after the reset, so check the current build before assuming the blocker is still universal.

If you abandoned the quest

Do not assume the character is permanently blocked. Players report being able to reacquire the quest around Falaath Village, although recovery behavior has varied during beta.
