WoW Forever Waylaid Crates Bug & Fix Status
Check the two officially acknowledged Waylaid Crates bugs in WoW Forever beta, including Apprentice Curiosities and Blizzard's announced fix status.
Blizzard has acknowledged two Waylaid Crates problems in the WoW Forever beta and says both are fixed in the next Beta build. That wording does not identify a verified live build, so the current status remains fix announced.
Acknowledged problems
- Waylaid Crates do not function correctly when the required quantity exceeds an item's maximum stack size.
- Waylaid Crate: Apprentice Curiosities does not accept Greater Magic Essence and incorrectly allows Lesser Magic Essence to be targeted.
What players should check
- Record the exact crate name, required quantity and item stack size.
- For Apprentice Curiosities, do not assume the displayed target behavior means Lesser Magic Essence is the intended requirement.
- Update the beta client before retesting, then include the visible build number in a bug report if the crate still fails.
- Do not destroy materials or crates based on an unofficial workaround.
